Firstly I am going to look at the actor Liam Hemsworth.
Liam Hemsworth is a 25 year old Australian actor. His current most well known role is Gale Hawthorne from the movie The Hunger Games trilogy.
My reason for choosing him as one of the actors for my character profiles because I think that he would fit the character very well, having seen him in The Last Song, which like our film is under the romance/drama genre. I also think he would appeal to the target audience massively being a very popular man for young adults.
As he is a very well known actor, I feel that would benefit the film as he would already have a wide fan base which would then promote the film.
Secondly, there is the actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
Joseph is a 35 year old American actor and filmmaker. He started acting from a very young age and has been in many major movies over the years.The reason that I have chosen Joseph is because of the film 500 Days of Summer which is a romantic drama. I think that the way he plays that character, which is an innocent, totally in love young man is how we want to portray mail character.
The only query with Joseph Gordon-Levitt is that he is way above the age of the character (19), however I have still put him in because in many films actors portray characters that are much much younger than their actual age.
The last person on my character profiles is Jim Strugess who is a less well known actor for our target audience than the other two actors.The reason I have chosen James is because of his performance in the film One Day, which I have based a lot of my trailer influence on. The film is a romance drama and I feel that it has very similar themes to our plot.
However like Joseph I believe that he would now be too old to play the character, however 10 years ago he would have been a great actor to have involved.
